The controls for the SoundOrb Aurora are as easy to use as they are on the eye. The SoundBar features illuminated touch sensitive buttons and the logically designed remote control mirrors the symbols used by your iPod; On / Off ... Shuffle ... Skip track. Additionally, you can switch between the three different sound settings at the touch of a button, and adjust the balance of both the SoundBar and Sub-Woofer independently.

SoundOrb Aurora uses advanced sound algorithms to deliver Virtual Surround Sound and Virtual Wide Stereo Sound from a compact speaker. By understanding how the ear receives and processes sound, SoundOrb Aurora’s built-in DSP technology alters how sound is transmitted from the speaker. This deceives the ear into sensing music from various sources and angles, rather than directly from the unit, resulting in an enhanced listening experience.

SoundOrb Aurora’s 3 sound settings deliver the following psychoacoustic experiences:

1. Stereo

This is a standard audio setting that most speakers use. Sound from the left speaker is received by the left ear slightly before the right ear and vice versa, delivering stereo format audio.

3. 3D

This is the setting that achieves the perception of Virtual Surround Sound, with sound seeming to come from multiple speakers placed around the room. This setting is recommended for watching movies, the 3D setting puts you in the middle of the action.

2. Wide

As the name suggests, the wide setting delivers sound that appears to be coming from a wider speaker system than in reality. This setting is recommended for listening to music, especially live tracks, for atmosphere recreation.
