After five days of living and learning with a familia mexicana, meet back up with the group and head to magical Chichén Itzá in the heart of the ancient Mayan Empire. DAY 1 | Mérida Sunny skies and warm temperatures greet you when you land in Cancún. Head to Mérida, where you will start using your Spanish immediately as excited host families wait to welcome you!

DAYS 2-5 | Mérida Family Stay It’s time to try new foods, practice your Spanish and help out with family activities. Visit Ría Celestún, where you will take a boat ride to observe flamingos and take a dip in the refreshing Ojo de Agua. B L D

DAY 6 | Riviera Maya Bid farewell to your Mérida host family and depart for Chichén Itzá, where you will behold the colossal pyramid of Kulkulkán, named one of The New 7 Wonders of the World! Then stop to cool off at the incredibly beautiful Cenote Ik Kil before moving on to the Caribbean coast, also known as the Riviera Maya. B L

DAY 7 | Riviera Maya Enjoy the white sand paradise of the Riviera Maya. Many exciting activities await you, including swimming, snorkeling and more! Visit the Mayan ruins of Tulúm and take in the beautiful turquoise waters that surround it. B

DAY 8 | Return Transfer by bus to the Cancún airport for your return to the U.S. B
