Social media has become very important

to businesses these days.

Most major companies have Facebook

Pages, and you can follow many of them

on Twitter and other sites.

When you become savvy with social

media, you are playing in the same

arena as the big boys do!

My favorite social media sites are: Facebook Twitter Google+ LinkedIn Pinterest

I have stayed with these because there is only so

much time in a day, and five sites are about all I can

handle.

People Want to Connect

Your WordPress blog needs to have social media connect buttons so that

people can easily connect with and follow you.

The plugin I use is Social Media Widget by Acurax. It's simple to use and has a

lot of options. It’s easy to set up, and I’ll show you how.

Install the Plugin

Note: You don’t do any editing here.

Choose Social Media Widget Settings

You just have to click the radio button of the style you like best.

Go to Appearance/Widgets▪ This is in your WordPress Dashboard sidebar

Find the AcuraxSocial Media Widget

In this case, I’m using my Blog sidebar:

Drag & drop the widget to any position you wish

And you’re done!

If you decide later that you want a different style, you can change it right in the widget dashboard:
