We believe that all women have a place in the outdoors and are striving to be a leader in the outdoor industry by supporting women in their outdoor pursuits. We do this by publishing three blog posts every week designed to inform, entertain and inspire our readers. On our weekly podcast show we interview inspiring outdoor women. Every quarter we publish a digital magazine where we showcase some of our very best stories and articles. We teach online classes, giving women skills and confidence to adventure and lead local hiking groups in several US cities. WHY WE'RE DIFFERENT

-Hike Like A Woman is a website for and by women who aren't professionals in the outdoor industry. We're simply real women who love to hike in between juggling our careers, families and busy lives. We're not outdoor models, or world class athletes.

-Hike Like A Woman is funded through sponsorships, affiliate sales, advert ising and enrollment in our online classes. We don't part icipate in crowd-sourced funding because we want to give to our community, not take from them.

-Hike Like A Woman is ent irely woman owned and operated with over 70 volunteers, and 6 (very, very, minimally paid staff) coming from all over the world. We have women on our team from South Africa to Australia, Austria to Kenya, Canada and the United States. We pride ourselves on our diverse team.

-Hike Like A Woman is part of the Just Trails, LLC family.

In 2018 we hope to expand to offer retreats,

guided trips and in-person classes in the

beautiful state of Wyoming.

We believe that recycling gear is good for the

planet and our budgets. We hope to start an

online gear exchange on our website in 2018.

Outdoor Book Club

While books can't replace outdoor adventure

they can help quench our wanderlust. Outdoor

book club coming soon!

Outdoor Job Board

We want to see more women employed by

outdoor brands and businesses and hope to

connect our readers with employment in 2018.
