Problems• Percentage of cigarette consumption in Indonesia is the
largest in Asean. RA Yayi Suryo Prabandari as Lecturer of Faculty of medicine, Gadjah Mada University saying “the number of smokers in Indonesia increased year by year” If we compared with other countries in ASEAN, percentage of cigarette consumption in Indonesia is 46.16%, Filipina 16.62%, Vietnam 14.11%, Myanmar 8.73%, Thailand 7.74%, Laos 1,23% Malaysia 2.90%, Kamboja 2.07%, Singapura 0.39%, Brunei Darussalam 0.04%.
• Based on data which published by Demographic institutions, Faculty of Economics--Indonesian University, Southeast Asia Tobacco Control Alliance and National Commision on Tobacco Control, Indonesia was ranked third in the number of smokers in the world after China and India.
Problems• Risk of lung cancer increased in those
who are closely related to smoking, whether active or passive smokers.
• 80% cases of lung cancer related to smoking problem.
• Smoking is a habit that must be changed to avoid the disease because cigarettes contain toxins that are harmful to the human body and can make addiction.
• The smoke is not only harmful to the smoker but also the people around who are exposed to smoke.
Hypothesis
Incident cases of Lung Cancer that occur could be prevented if smoking were eliminated

Explanations• a paper cylinder containing

• Active smokers is people who do the direct activity of smoking, smoking cigarettes which had been burned.
• Passive smoking is people who not smoke directly, but he took a breath of smoke released by active smokers.
Explanations• Smoke contains many other dangerous
substances, although the amount of harmful substances is very small in a cigarette. They are Butane, Cadmium, Stearic Acid, Hexamine, Toluene, Nicotine, Ammonia, Paint, Methanol, Carbon Monoxide, arsenic, Methane, Asetic Acid
• The causes of teen smoking is parental influence, peer influence, personality factors and the influence of advertising
Explanations• Lung cancer is a dangerous disease
according to the World Health Organization (WHO), smoking is the biggest cause of lung cancer in the world
• Lung cancer is a malignant disease in the lung, including malignancies of the lung or outside the lung. Smoking is the most important risk factor for lung cancer.
Explanations• Lung damage from free radicals through
the cigarette smoke issued. Cigarette smoke contains more than 60 carcinogens that can lead to lung cancer. Materials carcinogen binding to DNA bronchial mucosa. This will activate the bond dominant oncogenes and tumor inhibiting gene. Tumor inhibitor gene mutations that result in no malignant cells that inhibit the activity of malignant cells divide freely.
Solutions• Rule for No Way Smoking Area : prohibited area for
smoking activity or activities of producing, selling, advertising, and promote tobacco products
• Motivated to your self : smoking habit never give benefit to you. Say NO to smoking.
• Slow but sure : Delay smoke that first so that you can survive without a cigarette. Or you can put off for a cigarette in a few minutes.
• Change activity : someone smoking because have free time, so every you have free time, don’t smoking, change your free time with quality activity, such as doing exercises, recreation with friends, or just reading book and listening music
