Our Experience in talking to the Smokers

This was our first experience about talking or advising an adult smoker. And after the talk we helped an adult to improve and slowly-slowly leave the cigarette smoking. Our this experiment proved to be 40% successful in helping the smokers. Now in the further slides we will see about the smoking, its sources and its effects and some pictures and videos. We had a rally on ‘”Tambakku Chhoddo” Or “Leave Tobacco” in our city we went to people explaining the harmful effects of tobacco. Many people understood it and took the promise not to smoke again in life. We were very happy on that thing that many people responded positively.Really it was a thrilling experience. By Ritik Patel

ExperiencesOne man is staying next to us, whenever I see him he is always smoking. One day I asked him why are you smoking continuously he says that smoking is like life for him, he does not want to leave smoking. I said to him not to smoke as it is very harmful to our health, it also spreads lots many diseases and creates cancers, it also spoils our environment. I advised him to consult a doctor, who can help you to leave your bad habit of smoking. He tried to leave smoking , he was smoking 10 times a day, but now he is smoking for 5 times, and trying his best leave smoking.   By Zeenal Prajapati

I n t roduct ion to smok ingSmoking is a practice in which a substance, most commonly tobacco, is burned and the smoke is tasted or inhaled. There are many sources of smoking but the most common is cigarette. The main cause of smoking is lung cancer.

CigarettesCigarette is a cylindrical roll of shredded tobacco leaves for smoking, with an outer covering of thin, usually white paper. It causes cancer as it contains Tobacco and many more harmful contents.

Causes of SmokingSmoking can cause diseases affecting the heart, liver and lungs like heart attacks and cancer. The main cause of smoking in the world today is cancer and the main cancer it causes it is of the lung cancer. We will see about lung cancer in the further slides.

Lung CancerLung Cancer is malignancy of the lungs that is the leading cause of cancer deaths for both men and women . Nearly 90% of lung cancers occur in smokers. It is estimated that 60-65% of cancer patients are related to lung cancer.
