Guide to Return to Play Sign-up

Welcome to the instructions for Return to Play. Completing the sign-up is a crucial and mandatory step for players, team managers, and trainers to get back on the field. Please follow the steps below carefully and you should have this process completed very quickly!

Sign-up Players 1. Use your phone or computer browser and visit www.smithtownkickers.com

2. Most of you will need to click the Register button in the upper right corner of the site. If you

have registered using our new Intramural/Interleague registration system that we have used over the last few seasons, you can log in as you had for Intramural registration using the Login button and skip to Step 11. If you forgot your password, please use the Forgot Your Password link.

3. Click on the Register button. You will be taken to the following screen:

4. Fill in the all fields on the screen. A best practice is to use your email as a Username. When done, click on the Create Account button.

5. Once your account is created, you will see the following screen:

6. If you are a parent registering players, please click on Register My Players. You will be asked to provide you/family information:

7. Please fill in all information and click on Continue. Next, you will be asked how many kids you will be registering:

8. Click on the number of players you have in the club and ones that are interested in joining the club. You will then be asked to provide first names for each child

9. You will then be asked to fill in additional information on each of your children. It is CRITICAL you enter the proper birth date for each child!!!

10. Click Save after entering each child’s information. Once you finish entering all your children’s information, you will see the following screen for the first child you entered:

11. If you logged in using an existing account, you will get to this screen by clicking on the 1 Program Available button next your child’s name on the Account screen. Click on the Select button, then click on the Next Player button for each additional child. Click Continue once you reach your last registered child.

12. Please fill in the fields highlighted below, including Yes for the No Charge question on the top of the screen. Be especially sure to carefully read the Player Verification Waiver and click on the I Agree checkbox.

13. Click the Next Player if you have more children. When done, click on Continue.

14. Click on the Skip button to bypass the Volunteer opportunities (we will get you another time!)

15. Click on the Submit Order button. You will be presented with a congratulations for registering and see your confirmation number. You will receive an email of this information as well. Please DO NOT delete your email. You may need to show or send it to the team manager before being able to participate in club activities.

16. You are all set! Thank you for signing up!

Sign-up Team Manager & Trainers If you have just completed signing up your child or children or you have signed up before and you are a Team Manager, Assistant Team Manager, or Trainer, please follow the instructions below to sign-up yourself

1. If you are not already, please log into the site using the Login button. If you are still logged in, click on the person inside a circle on the upper right part of the screen and select Account

2. In the Participants section, mouse over on the icon with the 3 dots and select Add Participant

3. You will be presented a screen where you will need to fill in your name, your gender, and your birth date. Click Continue after you have entered all the information

4. You will be presented with a screen with your children and you. Find your name and click on the down arrow on the line with your name. You will see the screen similar to below.

5. The program should come up as Return to Play – Team Manager & Trainer. If it comes up as Return to Play – Players, you need to go into your player settings and adjust the incorrect birth date you put in. If the correct program came up, then click on Select and Continue buttons.


7. When done, click on Continue.

8. Click on the Skip button to bypass the Volunteer opportunities

Sign-up Team Manager & Trainers If you are a Team Manager, Assistant Team Manager, or Trainer and you are only signing yourself for the first time, please follow the instructions below to sign-up yourself

11. Use your phone or computer browser and visit www.smithtownkickers.com

12. Most of you will need to click the Register button in the upper right corner of the site. If you have registered using our new Intramural/Interleague registration system that we have used over the last few seasons, you can log in as you had for Intramural registration using the Login button and skip to Step 11. 18. Click on the one icon. You will then be asked to provide your first name

19. You will then be asked to fill in additional information. Some of the information is completed. It is CRITICAL you enter the proper birth date for each child!!!

20. Click Continue after entering your information. Next, you will see the following screen:

21. The program should come up as Return to Play – Team Manager & Trainer. If it comes up as Return to Play – Players, you need to click on the Skip button and go into your player settings and adjust the incorrect birth date you put in. If the correct program came up, then click on Select and Continue buttons.
