The WIBOND ProScreen system consists of one or more WIBOND ProScreens and a comprehensive software package.

The ProScreen System

The ProScreen system is a visualisation system for lean production, enabling quick and easy communi-cation between operator and machine or between different operators.

The ProScreen system consists of ProScreen indus-trial monitors, the DSS software service, and the graphical ProView user interface.

You can use the ProScreen system to visualise data (key figures, events, operating instructions, etc.) and to control processes on a basic level, capture pro-cess data and store them in a centralised location.

Integrating sensors and peripherals with the WIBO-ND BUS makes the modular ProScreen system a safe investment in a factory information system in line with the Industrial 4.0 philosophy.

5Scope of services: ProScreen system software

WIBOND DSS DisplayServer

DisplayServer interfaces with customer data. It can be integrated in various ways using different file formats (e.g., ODBC, XML, ASCII …). DisplayServer runs as a service with graphical user interface on a server. It is also possible to integrate DisplayServer with the ProScreen industrial monitor. The integrated user interface is used for defining parameters. Use the Dis-playClient software to connect the DSS DisplayServer to customer ERP systems, e.g., via Idoc, RFC interfaces or other interfaces.

WIBOND ProScreenManager

Use ProScreenManager (part of the DisplayManager) for parameterising ProScreen via the network..You can also use this software to manage and inte-grate all the ProScreens in a system. "Imagereader"is part of the ProScreenManager and can be used for creating presentations from virtually any program. You can create simple or scheduled presentations.

WIBOND ProView (ContentManager)

The ProView software enables users to flexibly create and manage application-specific dynamic presenta-tions and operating instructions. ProView is as user-friendly as "PowerPoint" and can be used for cre-ating different kinds of scalable templates to visualise dynamic production and logistics processes. You do not need any programming expertise and can use your own IT system for creating the templates and adding dynamic content.

6 Creating templates in ProView.

ProView is a modular visualisation software to enable displaying, controlling, and monitoring a variety of pro-cesses. Impressive users can create any kind of template in ProView and then flexibly scale and edit how it is displayed.

ACO logic and interface modules

The modular ACO series basically consists of industrial-strength I/O modules and provides the opportunity of extend data capturing and control in the ProScreen system. ACO modules are either integrated with the industrial monitor or installed in external "breakout boxes" in machines or switch cabinets.

Use the ACO modules to integrate required peripher-als (e.g., pushbuttons, screwdrivers, scanners, scales, signal lamps, etc.) for the visualisation system. You can also connect ProScreen monitors directly to the PLC. Extending the system functions provides the Pro-Screen system with remote monitoring and enables you to integrate escalation and priority levels (e.g., to automatically send -mails and text messages).
