In the 2014-15 Budget Session, the Finance Minister of India Mr. Arun Jaitely is allotted the 7,060 Crores of Rupees for the 100 Smart Cities. The Indian Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi is going to develop the 100 Smart Cities as Satellite Towns of Larger Cities by modernizing the present Cities.

been planned in Delhi, The Capital Of India under the direct supervision of Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi . A land of approx 32000 acres nearby Dwarka is being developed for Smart City which will be well connected with Lifeline of Delhi Transport i.e. Delhi Metro , IGI Airport , planned transport system & KMP Expressway. This city will be next hub for education and hospitality with AIIMS coming in nearby vicinity. Diplomat Area will also be main highlight of this L Zone which will play a vital role in being most secured area having 3 tier security levels.

The India Smart Cities Challenge is a competition designed to inspire and support municipal officials as they develop smart proposals to improve residents' lives. Cities will compete in the first round – with the best proposals receiving funding from the Ministry of Urban Development.
