Hostel Allotment Terms and Conditions & Undertaking by the Students

General rule of hostel will be applicable to all the boarders. However some important rules are as follows:

1. Joining Institute mess is compulsory.

2. No guest will be allowed to stay in the hostel. In special case, permission may be taken from the concern

Warden.

3. There will be Base Menu which will be applicable to the entire Boarder and then will extra item on

payment basis through coupon.

Mess facilities to guests will be available on prior information to mess contractor in writing and

approved by the Warden of the concerned hostel.

4. Menu of the mess may be changed from time to time by the Hostel Management Committee.

5. Boarders will vacate the hostel at the end of each even semester.

6. No mutual transfer of the room/seat will be allowed in any hostel without permission of the warden of

the hostel.

7. Boarders must take permission in advance from the concern warden for overnight absent from the hostel.

8. Use of any types of electric gusset such as room heater, cooler, air conditioner, TV (except computer,

laptop, mobile, ipad) and parking of any vehicle (except bicycle) inside the hostel premises is strictly

prohibited.

9. Taking/bringing cooked food and/or utensil of mess to the room is strictly prohibited.

10. Drinking/possessing/bearing/consuming of alcoholic liquor and other prohibited drugs/items are strictly

prohibited.

11. In case of indiscipline/indulgence in ragging/any type of misbehavior reported by the warden of the

hostel/any competent authority will be dealt severely as per rule, which includes fine, expulsion from the

hostel, debarring from the campus selection or even expulsion from the Institute.

12. Hostel fee once deposited will not be refunded.

13. Hostel and mess timing are to be strictly followed by boarders.

14. All applications must be routed through proper channel.

15. Decision taken by the Warden/Hostel Management Committee will be applicable to the all boarders.
