Instructions

Pumpkin Pie Card Stock (1) 8-1/2” x 5-1/2”

(score at 4-1/4”)

Scraps (for two butterflies)

Dimensions

Step 1—Cut card stock according to measurements

provided.

Step 2—Score Pumpkin Pie card stock at 4-1/4” and fold

to form card base.

Step 3—Add the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border to the

Designers Series Paper and add layer to the card.

Step 4—Pennant the end of the Whisper White card

stock (4” x 1-3/4”) with the 1-3/8” Square Punch (if you

don’t have the punch you can use scissors).

This card’s layout utilizes the design of the sketch with its landscape

orientation and vertical focal point just to the left of the center. The

monochromatic color scheme and coordinating bold Designer Series

Paper further enhance the vibrancy of this card. A combination of

layered and stamped butterflies adds the perfect finishing touch.

Whisper White Card Stock (1) 4” x 1-3/4”

Scallop Ribbon Border)

Quatrefancy DSP (1) 4” x 4-1/2”


Step 5—Stamp butterfly with Pumpkin Pie ink.

Step 6—Stamp butterflies on the Pumpkin Pie card

stock using Pumpkin Pie ink and cut them out with

the Butterfly Punches (Bitty Butterfly and Elegant

Butterfly).

Step 7—Add Bitty Butterfly to Elegant Butterfly with

Stampin’ Dimensionals and add it to the white layer

using Snail Adhesive.

Step 8—Stamp “Take Care” greeting with Pumpkin

Pie ink. Pennant the ends with the 1” Square Punch.

Add this layer to the card with Stampin Dimensionals.

Step 9—Add Rhinestone to each butterfly. Your card

is complete!

Step 2—Score 4-1/4 x 11” Pool Party card stock at 5-1/2”

and fold to form card base.

Step 3—Stamp flower images on Black card stock scraps

using VersaMark ink. Then cover with Pool Party Stampin'

Emboss Powder. Set using Heat Tool.

Step 4—Die cut flowers using the Secret Garden Framelit

Dies and set aside.

Basic Black Card Stock (1) 1” x 4”

(2) Scraps for die cutting

This card is also very similar to the sketch and expands the focal point

with two large embossed flowers. If you don’t have the Secret Garden

Framelits, you could also use other shapes such as hearts, labels,

circles and squares– even Christmas ornaments would make a great

focal point.


Step 5—Die cut 1” x 4” strip of Black card stock

using the Tasteful Trim die. Set aside.

Step 6—Stamp border stamp from Summer

Silhouettes in StazOn Black ink on the 4” x 5-1/4”

piece of Whisper White card stock, round opposite

edges.

Step 7—Stamp sentiment on 2-1/4” x 4” inch piece

of Whisper White card stock.

Step 8—Assemble card adhering flowers and

Whisper White layer using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Step 9—Embellish by scattering Rhinestones.

Step 4—Stamp sentiment in Calypso Coral ink in lower

right hand corner of Very Vanilla card stock and adhere

to card front.

Step 5—Layer houndstooth pattern square on the card

front.

This card has all of the elements of the original design—it’s just

rotated 90 degrees! This is a great way to use sketches in a new, fresh

way. The faux suede flower unifies the focal point while adding

texture and dimension to the card.

Step 6—Using the Dotted Scallop Ribbon border

punch on both strips of Very Vanilla card stock and

secure behind ruler pattern paper and place onto

card front.

Step 7—Punch two flowers out of Calypso Coral.

Crumple up flowers to break apart fibers of card

stock. Open them up and re-crumple. Separate the

two flower into four total pieces.

Step 8—Poke Vintage Brad through the flowers and

open the prongs on the back side. Use dimensionals

to adhere to the front of your card to finish.
