•Engineering is NOT impacted•No additional requirements for admission to SJSU (Math, Physics, etc) beyond CSU regular requirements for transfer admission•Completion of entire sequence of Lower Division course requirements is NOT mandatory for enrollment in Upper Division coursework•Area A3 Critical Thinking is NOT required for admission or graduation from Engineering programs. Must indicate Engineering as a major on CSU Mentor

• Completion of ENGL 1B with a grade of C or higher is required to take the WST and to enroll in 100W courses

• Encourage students to complete equivalent to ENGL 1B prior to transfer

• Successful completion of WST is required prior to enrollment in 100W courses and all other SJSU Studies courses
