Community indicators • $5 Billion in energy projects have been completed or are currently underway and substantial incremental potential

energy projects are under consideration in the region. • In 2009 the Saint John Airport 222,310 passengers flew out of Saint John with 225,300 projected in 2010. • The Port of Saint John is New Brunswick’s largest and most diverse marine gateway. It is a bulk and break bulk port

with the capacity to handle containers and it is the forth largest Canadian Port of call for cruise ships.

sq. ft. signature development under construction by East Point Shopping • Atlantic Canada’s largest Costco store to open at East Point Shopping in May 2010 • $13 million interior renovation to McAllister Place Mall was recently completed • Plazacorp has developed approx. 100,000 sq. ft. of new retail space in West Saint
