EDUCATION AND TRAININGWhether you’ve never touched an LED before or you’re the local lighting wizard, everyone can benefit from formal lighting training. SiteOne understands the impact training and education has toward providing additional value to our customers so continual category education is a high priority in 2016. Our preferred lighting suppliers share this priority and will continue to play a key role in training both SiteOne associates and SiteOne customers. We encourage you to take advantage of training opportunities offered by SiteOne branches as well our valuable vendor partners.

Vista Professional Outdoor Lighting hosted 285 SiteOne training events in 2015 totaling over 1200 hours. These trainings are a very effective way to learn more about lighting and how you can utilize Vista’s American made product line to increase your lighting sales.

Unique Lighting regularly conducts “fly-ins” for SiteOne associates at their Riverside, California headquarters. Unique Lighting’s SiteOne fly-ins typically include two days of installation and design training followed by a hands-on demonstration at Unique founder Nate Mullen’s home.

FX Luminaire frequently holds training events at SiteOne branches. These training events often focus on the cutting-edge technologies that FX Luminaire offers such as the zoning, dimming, and color changing capabilities of the Luxor ZDC system, which are a great upsell to both new installations as well as existing ones.
