• Constant, high ambient temperature• Even and smooth surface• Slightly in elevated than the surrounding• Close to:

– dung collection point– water point– gas application point

• 2 meter away from foundations• Space for plant and compost-pit• Away from wells to avoid ground water pollution

• Sufficient distance to trees• Adequate distance from main trail or unsafe areas• Good bearing capacity of soil• Limited space: cattle shed on top of the plant after

proper backfill• Reasonably far from any machine producing
