Cycloconverter is used to convert ac to ac and the output ac has different frequency and magnitude

OPERATION

Duty Cycle = Ton/ T

T= Total Time = Ton + Toff

Ton= On time ; Toff= off time

Duty cycle= Ton/T

=0.01/0.02 =0.5=0.5*100% = 50%

And to remove these ripples we used the low pass filter

C=10mF

And it removes the unwanted frequency and we get the fundamental frequency that’s it 50 Hz.

F= 1/2* 3.14(LC)^1/2

Through this formula we can calculate the value of capacitor for low pass filter
