Renovation projects – We can review historic and current refurbishment projects to

identify missed claims for capital allowances or revenue deductions. Our specialist

the changes in Fixtures rules introduced in FA 2012, it is essential to agree the capital

THE PROCESS: WHAT HAPPENS AND WHENThe process usually takes between 4 and 8 weeks from first instruction to receiving the tax repayment from HMRC.

HJR Tax provide a complete capital allowances service to our clients. Unlike many other capital

allowances firms that are predominantly surveyors, our in-house tax team also prepare and submit

the claims to HMRC.

We provide you with copies of all the relevant documents and details of the capital allowances

available in future years. All we require are copies of the relevant tax returns and fixed asset

registers. Our team does the rest.

1 2 4 5 63We provide a detailed proposal, which sets out the likely cash benefit and our fees. If the client is happy to proceed, we carry out our client take on procedures.

One of our surveyors will visit the property to undertake a comprehensive building survey.

Before preparing the claim, we will carry out the due diligence to establish if your client qualifies.

Once the tax returns have been amended our tax team will send a draft claim report to the client and to their accountant for review.

We will submit the claim report to HMRC and provide copies of all relevant documents to the client and their accountant.

Our tax team will prepare the claim report and amend the relevant tax returns.

INTRODUCER AGREEMENT

Thank you for agreeing to partner with HJR Tax. We’re looking forward to working together to provide expert capital allowances and property tax advice to your clients. Agreement made with:

(HJ & R Tax Solutions Ltd (Co. Reg. No. 10936551) whose registered address is 22 Chepstow Road, Newport NP19 8EA (“HJR”).

Objective of the Agreement: To ensure both parties understand their responsibilities, the terms of the agreement and remuneration to be paid by HJ & R Tax Solutions Ltd (“HJR”).

Introducer’s Remuneration:20% of all fees earned from clients introduced (ex VAT)*Introducer fees may be passed to your clients as a discount

Our Commitment to you:

HJR will provide the Introducer with full details of all fees earned from any introductions.

HJR will not provide any services to the Introducer’s clients without prior consent.

HJR will not introduce or recommend any other organisations or service providers without the prior consent of the Introducer.

HJR will immediately advise the Introducer should it believe that it has breached any of the terms of this Agreement or that it may not be able to meet the terms of the Agreement going forward.

HJR will inform the Introducer within a reasonable period should it be the subject of a material criminal, tax or regulatory investigation that directly relates to the services provided for under this Agreement and which involves those persons introduced under the scope of this Agreement.

HJR will immediately inform Introducer of any material process, control or rule breach or failure relating to services provided under this Agreement for which the Introducer would reasonably expect notification of.

Your Commitment to us:

The Introducer will immediately advise HJR should it believe that it has breached any of the terms of this Agreement or that it may not be able to meet the terms of the Agreement going forward.

The Introducer will immediately inform HJR should it be the subject of any criminal, tax or regulatory investigation or any other matter, irrespective of whether related to the services provided under this Agreement.

The Introducer must not copy or duplicate any reports or technical advice issued by HJR nor, disclose any reports or advice to a third party without the consent of HJR.

The Introducer will immediately inform HJR of any material process, control or rule breach or failure by the Introducer relating to introducer services provided under this Agreement.

Terms of Agreement

This Agreement shall commence from the date of this Agreement and continues unless it is terminated.

This Agreement may be terminated on one months’ notice given in writing by one party to the other.

Neither party shall disclose information of a confidential nature acquired in accordance with this Agreement except for information which they are entitled or bound to disclose by law or regulation or has been placed in the public domain by others. This clause shall survive the termination of the whole or any part of this Agreement

HJR will pay any amounts due immediately following receipt of payment from the client. If our fee is to be paid in installments, the Introducer will also receive their share in line with the installment

payments.
