Dar es Salaam, 03th July 2015 TIGO Tanzania in collaboration with Simba Sports Club have launched a Simba News service, which aims at providing Tigo customers with Simba news accessible from wherever they are in the country.

The new product is known as SIMBA News. This is a simple and efficient way to unlock the world to its customers. On her part, Premier Mobile Solutions Operations Manager Ms. Lulu Ramole said that the product was designed to provide customers with instant access to information adding that the service comes in COMBO/BUNDLE pack whereby Tigo Subscribers will be charged ONLY ONCE per DAY and receive a minimum of four (04) News and Updates daily about Simba Sports Club.

The Service will also allow the Subscriber to Un-subscribe to the service anytime they wish without any difficulties and provide a MSAADA keyword for help on various Frequently Asked Questions for customers to send queries while enjoying/experiencing the service.

In order to subscribe to these services one needs to send the Keyword SIMBA to 15460 and you will receive notification message with will tell you to reply OK if you want to subscribe to the service..Once subscribed the subscriber will receive news from the Keyword they have subscribed daily and will be charged TSH 150/- per day. To unsubscribe from the services a subscriber just needs to send ONDOA SIMBA to 15460.

ABOUT SIMBA SPORT CLUB.Simba Sports Club is a Tanzanian football club based in Dar es Salaam. Our local games are played at two stadiums which are Uhuru Stadium and National Stadium. Simba SC is one of the two giant football clubs in Tanzania.

Simba Sports Club had several names during its history. When it was found in 1936, it was called Queens, later it became Eagles and Dar Sunderland. In 1971 it changed to its current name, Simba a Swahili name which means lion in English.

Simba SCs highest peak of success was when it reached the final Competitions of the CAF Cup in 1993, when it lost to Stella Abidjan of Cte dIvoire. It was the highest achievement on the continental competitions reached by any Tanzanian team so far in history.

One of the most memorable years of the club was in 2003 when Simba Sports Club knocked off the then-reigning CAF champions Zamalek of Egypt on one way to qualify for the group stages of the CAF Champions League.
