VALERIE CAPRONI, United States District Judge:

WHEREAS on May 13, 2016, Defendant filed his motion for bail pending appeal (Dkt. 299);

WHEREAS Defendant argues in his motion that the United States Supreme Court may revise

the scope of the official act requirement under the Hobbs Act and the honest services fraud statute

when it decides McDonnell v. United States, No.15-474, which was argued in the spring;

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that:

1.  Defendant’s deadline to pay the fine and forfeiture pursuant to the Amended Judgment

is adjourned to August 15, 2016. 

2.  Defendant’s deadline to surrender for service of his sentence is adjourned to noon on

August 31, 2016.

3.  The briefing schedule for Defendant’s motion for bail pending appeal previously set by

the Court is adjourned.  No later than two weeks after the Supreme Court issues its decision in

 McDonnell v. United States, Defendant must file a revised motion for bail pending appeal in light of

the Supreme Court’s decision. No later than two weeks after Defendant files his revised motion, the

Government must file its response, and Defendant’s deadline to reply is one week after the

Government’s response.
