Maintenance and Welfare of Parents & the Sr. Citizens Act, 2007 its Rules, Adoption Laws and

Section 125 Cr.P.C and JJ Act, 2015 on April 26, 2019 (Friday).

7. Monitoring the activities of Student Legal Literacy Clubs established in High Schools and

Colleges by DLSAs and TLSCs and also the progress of “Lessons in Law” for Classes IX and XI

and to submit report to Sikkim SLSA by April 30, 2019 (Tuesday).

8. Meeting of the DLSAs and TLSCs with the Panel Lawyers and PLV’s on 3rd/4th Saturday.

9. Hold Legal Aid Clinics by trained PLV’s and Panel Advocates under the supervision of DLSAs on

every Wednesday and Saturday in all the Block Administrative Centres/ADR Centres.

10. Holding of Legal Services Camps in accordance with newly approved model of NALSA by

DLSAs.

11. Reports by DLSAs on the activities in the schools on the book “Lessons in Law” by April

provide legal services and to interact with the Senior Citizens to find out whether the welfare

schemes are being availed by them, and role of Pharmaceutical Companies under CSR and submit

the report to Sikkim SLSA.

14. SLSA to arrange visit of students of Legal Literacy Clubs in Schools to their respective District

Court Complexes in batches of 40-50 by involving Panel Advocates who would brief them with

regard to court functioning followed by interactive session with Judges, Public Prosecutors and

Others as per NALSA’s Guidelines for Legal Literacy Clubs in Schools (school level) on May 18,

2019 (Saturday).

15. Sensitization program for Special Judges under POCSO Act, Doctors/Medical Officers,

Investigating Officers and the persons manning Childline Services in Sikkim on May 24, 2019

(Friday) in the Conference Hall of Sikkim SLSA (Resource Persons from Indian Child

Protection & Medical Professional Network [ICPMPN]).
