Portable Gas Detector PS200

As a robust and accurate portable gas detector, the Personal Surveyor (PS200 Series)

provides unrivalled protection in confined space applications with audible and visual alarms in the event of exposure to flammable or toxic gases.

Detecting and displaying up to 4 gases simultaneously, PS200 is suitable for a host of applications in a variety of industries and the marine market.

Pre-entry checking can be carried out with the internal sampling pump, and diffusion operation ensures maximum battery life in confined spaces.

Features

• Meets all requirements of the new SOLAS regulation XI-1/7

• Simple 1-button operation

• Measures up to 4 gases (LEL/O2/CO/H2S)

• Audible, visual and vibrating alarms

• Internal pump

• Lightweight

• Sensor integrity checking

• Robust construction

• Ease of maintenance

Bump Station

The multifunctional Auto Bump Calibration station provides simple but intelligent testing and calibration of the PS200 portable gas detector.

The Auto Bump/Calibration station dramatically improves compliance record-keeping, efficiency and accuracy. Once the PS200 is placed in the dock, it can be tested, calibrated and charged.

• Simple user interface

• Extremely cost effective

• Full bump, calibration and charging option

• Bump/Calibration result storage

• Stand-alone, PC or ethernet options

• Robust construction

SOLAS regulation XI-1/7

With the SOLAS guideline XI-11/7 from 2014, the IMO brought a mandatory regulation for the existence of gas detectors on the way.

According to the regulation, it is mandatory that all ships for the entering of enclosed rooms and for emergency exercises must have a gas detector on board from July 2016.

The technical requirements for the gas detectors are specified in this directive. The PS200 complies with all requirements provided therein.
