Sunday, August 17th
6:00 pm on South Lawn
Emmanuel is hosting a cookout for the
church family to welcome Academy
students and their parents and families.
We want to reach out and encourage
these folks and spend some time getting
to know them. The menu will include grilled hamburgers and
hotdogs, potato chips, drinks, and cookies.
We have reserved the SJBA Bounce House for the children.
We have sent invitations to the families and anticipate a good
turnout. Hope EBC members will help us welcome them.

DeMoss Missionaries Serving the Lord in
Vanderhoof, British Columbia Ron and Linda are Church Revitalizers-with NAMB
They are preparing for baptism of a 13-year old young man from their church. They are also excited to announce that a young lady who just graduated high
school has asked Christ to come into her heart, forgive her and God has given her a new heart! A special thanks goes out to those of you who responded to the request for fi-nancial support to help with expenses for our two summer interns, Kristen and Ethan. They will be helping with VBS and other planned activities, and some not planned. Em-
manuel’s Mission Team sent money to help with airline tickets to Canada for the interns.
