The floor-standing centrifuges from Sigma have a new look. A new, flat lid with a handy stainless-steel handle and an enlarged obser-vation window for external speed checks clearly enhance the func-tionality and design of the centrifuge. In order to ensure an even higher level of comfort in terms of the operation of the centrifuge, the control unit has been shifted to the left. The centrifuge has an impressive capacity: The max. capacity of the Sigma 8KS models goes from 6 x 1 litre with a fixed-angle rotor up to 12 x 1 litre, 6 x 1.5 litres or 12 blood bags (Sigma 8KBS) with a swing-out rotor.

Die Standzentrifugen von Sigma haben ein Facelift bekommen. Ein neuer, flacher Deckel mit handlichem Edelstahlgriff und Sichtfenster zur externen Drehzahlkontrolle bietet ab sofort ein großes Plus in puncto Funktionalität und Design. Für eine noch komfortablere Bediensituation wurde die Steuerung auf die linke Seite verlegt. Das Innere der Zentrifuge wartet wie bisher mit beeindruckendem Fassungsvermögen auf: Die max. Kapazität der Sigma 8KS reicht von 6 x 1 Liter im Festwinkelrotor und bis zu 12 x 1 Liter, 6 x 1,5 Liter oder 12 Blutbeuteln (Sigma 8KBS) im Ausschwingrotor.

Sigma Datasuite by LabCraft continuously monitors the status of the connected centrifuges and will automatically write a file to a user-defined location once a centrifugation run is completed.Sigma Datasuite enables local and server archiving of all relevant data arising during the centrifugation process, together with donation and staff IDs, as csv or txt files (or optionally write to SQL database). Sigma Datasuite will organize the processing data in a line for each present donation ID, thus enabling straightforward import to the blood bank establishment computer system.

Die Sigma Datasuite (by Labcraft) überwacht kontinuierlich den Status der angeschlossenen Zentrifugen. Ist ein Zentrifugationslauf abgeschlossen, speichert das System automatisch eine Datei an einem vom Benutzer festgelegten Ort.Mit Hilfe der Sigma Datasuite können alle beim Zentrifugieren anfallenden relevanten Daten archiviert werden. Diese werden zusammen mit den Spenden- und Mitarbeiter-IDs als CSV- oder TXT-Dateien lokal oder auf einem Server gespeichert oder optional in eine SQL-Datenbank geschrieben.

The innovative g-lock rotor system by Sigma enables a rotor change entirely without any tools or buttons that need to be pressed. Installing or changing rotors has never been easier. There is no need to tighten any screws, as the rotor is locked in place by centrifugal force after the centrifugation run has started. The new g-lock system ensures an easy change of rotors and is, therefore, perfectly suitable for applications requiring more than one rotor.

Das innovative Rotorsystem g-lock von Sigma ermöglicht einen Rotorwechsel gänzlich ohne den Einsatz von Werkzeug und ohne Knopfdruck. Das Einsetzen und Austauschen von Rotoren ist denk-bar einfach. Auf ein Festschrauben kann verzichtet werden, da die Verriegelung des Rotors nach dem Start des Zentrifugationslaufs via Zentrifugalkraft erfolgt. Das neue g-lock System gewährleistet einen bequemem Tausch von Rotoren und eignet sich somit perfekt für Anwendungsfälle, bei denen das Arbeiten mit mehr als einem Rotor erforderlich ist.

The Sigma 2-7 model is available with numerous swing-out and angle rotors and different types of buckets and adapters. Thanks to the extensive range of accessories, vessels from 1.5 ml up to 100 ml as well a microtiter plates, deepwell plates and cytological preparations can be centrifuged.A special feature is the swing-out rotor for microtiter plates.Up to 6 microtiter plates can be centrifuged per run with gravita-tional fields over 2,100 x g. Another innovative feature: a rotor that can hold up to 12 cytological preparations.

Die Sigma 2-7 ist mit einer Vielzahl von Ausschwing- und Winkelro-toren, verschiedenen Bechern und Adaptern erhältlich. Dank desumfangreichen Zubehörs können Gefäße von 1,5 ml bis 100 ml sowie Mikrotiter-, Deepwell-Platten und zytologische Präparate zentrifugiert werden. Eine Besonderheit ist der Ausschwingrotor für Mikrotiterplatten. Pro Lauf können bis zu 6 Mikrotiterplatten bei Schwerefeldern über 2.100 x g zentrifugiert werden. Eine weitere, neue Spezialität: Ein Rotor, der bis zu 12 zytologische Präparate aufnehmen kann.
