Sigfrido went to the war leaving Genoveva to the care of his butler Golo, who tried to

violate her.

Sigfrido came back and Genoveva gave birth.

Golo accused her of adultery.Genoveva was sentenced to death in the forest but she lived in a cave with a hind.

Sigfrido went hunting to the forest.

He realized the mistake he committed by

alllowing the accusing and took her to his

palace.Their son

“Unfortunate” inherits the county.

Genoveva devoted his life to the most noble virtues.After many years she died for a serious illness and

the hind died with her.Sigfrido build a great monument in Genoveva and

the hind’s memory.

People of that place visit their hermitage to remember the exemplar life of

Genoveva.Alot of writers and musicians have wrote

or composed about their love story.
