1. Booking a course at Siemens Training

1.1 Course Selection

When you arrive at our homepage www.siemens.co.uk/sitrain you will see a list of

product groups

Select the required product type and then you can select the required training course

1.2 Course Information

Under the tab "Description" you will find a detailed description of the training (Target, Target,

Content, Local, duration, etc.).

Under the tab "Dates and registration" you will find the dates for this training:

If you wish to book to a particular date, click on the icon of the "shopping cart" on that date:



1.3 Booking Process

You will be asked to login now so that you can carry on through the

booking process. If you are already registered then enter your details. If not

then you will need to register.

If you have forgotten your password please enter your email address and

‘Forgetton Password

You will receive an email with a temporary password. You can then

create a new password following the rules outlined.

You will then see the participant data. Click “Edit” if any of the details are

incorrect

If you want to proceed with the booking, click on "Next":

The system then shows a summary of the book training

1.4 Billing Process

You can now enter your Purchase Order Number here if you have one. If you don’t

have one its OK. We will hold provisional bookings for 10 workings days pending

receipt of your PO. We will require a copy of the PO emailing to us for invoicing

purposes.

On the next screen click “Next”

You will then need to accept the T&Cs and click “Register”

You will then receive a confirmation email and your booking then goes into our

booking queue where we will contact you within 48 hours.

1.5 Web Based Training (WBT)

Booking a web based training module is the same process as above but without the

billing stage as these modules are free of charge.

Once you have registered to a WBT you are placed in our booking queue and they

will be processed within 48 hours.

You will receive a confirmation email when they are available for you to start.

2. Creating an Account

2.1 User Registration

New customers can create an account via the ‘Registration Form’

You will then enter the User Registration. You must fill out the information

below. Please ensure that your e-mail address is unique. The email address can

only occur once in our system (so no [email protected] for example).

Please take note to register correctly.

Name = Surname/Last Name



You will then see the following message.

You will then receive a password activation email. This activation email is only valid

for 24hours.

In this screen you can enter a password and press submit.

Your registration is now complete

The link in the email takes you to this screen where you can enter a password

and press submit
