1. Executive Summary
SHRM India offers HR knowledge enhancing services in the form of HR Certification, HR
capability development programs and comprehensive HR advisory engagements. During
interaction between Dr.Thiagarajan , Dean, Xavier Institute of Management and
Entrepreneurship(XIME) and SHRM India, annual memberships to SHRM India for students
and faculty of PGDM(HR) were discussed as means to collaborate. This was further
reinforced by the students’ representatives during their interaction with SHRM India team.
This will directly result into-
• Broadening the knowledge base of HR students and faculty by exposing them to
‘next’ concepts in HR function
• Validating practical knowledge of HR students/faculty testing application concepts
• Supplement the curriculum based knowledge and staying in touch with experienced
professionals from the industry
The SHRM India annual memberships provided at subsidized rates to students and at
market rates to faculty will be activated for a year and subject to renewal at end of each
year. The membership will be activated with a secure and unique login credential to each
member. The member care team at SHRM India will facilitate the smooth kick-off of this
engagement between XIME and SHRM India.
Membership to SHRM India allows members access to knowledge forums conducted
periodically at major cities.

2. Scope of Work
Annual membership to SHRM India to all students of PGDM (HR) at discounted rates to
facilitate access to the learning platform of SHRM available online. The huge repository
of current research knowledge, case-studies, experience-sharing and articles can be
greatly leveraged by the students.
• Access to SHRM India Forums events held at prominent cities regularly to reach out to
HR community at large. At these Forums, latest and ‘next’ topics of HR interest are
discussed by experts with an audience who are HR practitioners from various organizations.
Student members are eligible to attend these forums once in a three-month period.
Annual memberships to SHRM India to all faculty of PGDM (HR) at market rates to
facilitate augmentation of knowledge and access to latest research papers, case-studies
on HR.
Access to SHRM India Forums events held at prominent cities regularly to reach out to
HR community at large. Faculty members get access to forum meets every month.

3.2 SHRM India Forums
SHRM India hosts a number of forums in various locations across India. These Forums
provide a local platform for global learning, enable professional development, networking,
exchange of knowledge resources and practices within Indian and global HR communities.
Student members will get an opportunity to attend seminars once in a three-month period.
Faculty members will be able to attend forums every month. These forums are chaired by
thought leaders on a diverse array of HR disciplines and enhance HR capability
development.
