Teaser:The Shrine Pass to Red Cliff ride is a point-to-point route with greatviews of Notch Mountain and Mount of the Holly Cross. This is aneasy ride with a length of 8.75 miles
Description: The ride begins on Shrine Pass road. Look for a sign just west of the Vail Pass rest area directing riders to Red Cliff. Ride west on the road over Shrine Pass (11089 Feet). The descent into Red Cliff is pretty straight forward as the route parallels Turkey Creek.
Directions:Two cars are needed for the Shrine Pass to Red Cliff ride.
Parking for Red Cliff: Take the Minturn exit (171) off of Interstate 70. Go east on U.S. Highway 24 to Red Cliff before the bridge. Shrine Passroad is the first left turn from the Red Cliff turn-off. Parking is availablealong the side of the road.
Parking for Vail Pass: Take the Vail Pass exit (190) off of Interstate 70.Park at the Vail Pass rest area.
