Workshops are designed to assist the entry-level and mid-level professional to accelerate to the next career stage. Research the organizations you are interested in: • Professors in the field at the institution? What do they specialize in?• What does the company do? What is their competition?• Formulate a list of questions (for example):
– Where are you placing recruits with my experience?– What is a typical day working at your company?– What are examples of my responsibilities once on board?– What does the application process entail? – Who makes the decision?
Have your members plan their wardrobeLadies: No lacy/see-through tops, no low backs, no skirts more than 5 inches above the knee
Gentlemen: no baggy pants
Wear comfortable dress-up shoes/ no Sneakers, Flip Flops, heels that are too high
