Graduate Leadership
Regional Graduate Representatives (RGRs)
Regional Graduate Representatives (RGRs) are the liaison and voice for graduate students in their region on the Graduate Committee.
Oversee and work with the Graduate Ambassadors to plan and execute programming for graduate students within their region.
RGRs are elected for a one-year term by all paid SHPE graduate student members in their region.
What is a Graduate Ambassador?Liaison and voice for graduate students in their chapter to the RGR and other regional and national leaders.
Work with their chapter leadership to plan and execute programming for graduate students and advocacy for undergraduate students in their chapter as well as events for all students.
They also work to create awareness of opportunities for graduate students in SHPE such as conferences, scholarships, and other programming.
