Witness bizarre feats of strength, death defying stunts and brilliant balancing, but what happens when Fifi and Finbar disappear and can you catch the fleas? THE GREAT HALLOWEEN WITCHES & WIZARDS PUPPET MAKING WORKSHOP 10AM Witches with broomsticks and Wizards with wands! Come and have great fun making your very own Halloween puppet to scare off those vam- pires. All materials supplied for scary fun! HALLOWEEN MAGIC • ALEX THE MAGICIAN • 2PM A Halloween magic show for all the family and an hour of magical entertainment. Will it be trick or treat or dragon dropping? JACK AND BILLY • CLYDEBUILT PUPPETS • 2PM No introduction needed here with the Three Billy Goats Gruff and lots of trippety-trap fun and Jack and the Beanstalk….Fee Fi Fo Fum as Jack plants a magic bean! Clydebuilt have created a show with baskets and boxes that become a house or even a castle. Just bring your imagination. THE SNOW CHILD • PAVLA’S PUPPETS • 2PM When all was quiet a childless couple went outside and made a little snowgirl in the snow. How they wished that she would come alive and be a daughter to them….in the morning she knocked on the door of their cottage and came in…. A poignant Russian folk tale. WHO WILL MARRY MISS MOUSE & WORKSHOP • COLLEEN MAGENNIS 11AM / 1PM / 3PM Who Will Marry Miss Mouse is a traditional Japanese folk tale, with a humorous twist... and a happy ending, when Miss Mouse falls in love with Mr Mole, but Papa Mouse has other plans! Including a make your very own Miss CHRISTMAS Mouse after the show. AN EDWARDIAN CHRISTMAS • AMAZING ADDRIAN • 2PM Step back in time to childhood entertainments of days gone by with Professor Addrian. The Jabberwocky, Jan Klassen, Punch & Judy and the Kaleidoscopic effects of The Magic Lantern. SANTA’S BACK! • GARY DUNN • 2PM Ever wondered what Santa looks like on his summer holidays? Or maybe you’d like to know who gets invited to a party at the North Pole? Well, all will be revealed in Gary Dunn’s CHRISMASSY MAGIC SHOW! So popular last year, we have put on two shows this year. NEXT WEEKEND SEASON COMMENCES JANUARY 2018 Workshops can be booked throughout the year for outing; schools, groups & birthday parties. SMPC’s children and family programme aims to introduce you to touring companies both national & international, which includes aspects of glove, rod, marionette, shadow, table-top and black light theatre. We also promote performances, using mask, mime, storytelling, music, magic and entertainment. We endeavour to give birthday mentions to all children if informed in advance.
