THE MAGIC CIRCUS • MAGIC DEN • 2PMRoll up, roll up, Magic Den presents The Magic Circus, an exciting, fun, fast-paced and colourful magic show for all the family. Everyone from 3-93 is sure to love this interactive show, so get in early as you could be a star in Den’s Magic Circus.DOORS OPEN DAY • FREE PUPPET SHOWS / TOURS / EXHIBITION •10AM - 4PM Our doors will be open for a warm welcome from all at the Scottish Mask and Puppet Centre. We’ve been called “Glasgow’s Wee Hidden Gem, a Jewel in a box” and a “Chocolate Box with the treats inside” but it’s really the people who walk through our doors that make the magic. See a free Magic Show Sat 16 or Puppet Show Sun 17 11am/ 1pm/ 3pm each day. Visit our Film and Special Effect Creature Workshop. Come and have great fun making your very own Halloween puppet to scare off those vam-pires. All materials supplied for scary fun! HALLOWEEN MAGIC • ALEX THE MAGICIAN • 2PMA Halloween magic show for all the family and an hour of magical entertainment. Will it be trick or treat or dragon dropping? An opportunity to join in as Alex will need lots of little helpers. Do come in fancy dress (optional) witches, ghosts, bats, pumpkins…. all welcome!

JACK AND BILLY • CLYDEBUILT PUPPETS • 2PM No introduction needed here with the Three Billy Goats Gruff and lots of trippety-trap fun and Jack and the Beanstalk….Fee Fi Fo Fum as Jack plants a magic bean! Clydebuilt have created a show with baskets and boxes that become a house or even a castle. Just bring your imagination.

SANTA’S BACK! • GARY DUNN • 2PMEver wondered what Santa looks like on his summer holidays? Or maybe you’d like to know who gets invited to a party at the North Pole? Well, all will be revealed in Gary Dunn’s CHRISMASSY MAGIC SHOW! So popular last year, we have put on two shows this year.
NEXT WEEKEND SEASON COMMENCES JANUARY 2018 Workshops can be booked throughout the year for outing; schools, groups & birthday parties.
SMPC’s children and family programme aims to introduce you to touring companies both national & international, which includes aspects of glove, rod, marionette, shadow, table-top and black light theatre. We also promote performances, using mask, mime, storytelling, music, magic and entertainment. We endeavour to give birthday mentions to all children if informed in advance.
