Lovejoy and Margaret Watts Hays, in which she portrays two women in a first person reenactment of the pre-civil War Missouri/Kansas Border conflicts. Border War Reflections is more than a history lesson, it is a heart-tugging reflection of life just prior to our nation’s brutal civil War, based on primary sources. Presenting both sides of the conflict without choosing sides, this performance includes music of the era and authentic costumes constructed using historic patterns and fabric.
