Master Chef Pankaj Bhadouria
The first winner of India’s first televised reality cooking show, MasterChef India, Chef Pankaj is not only a talented chef but a media superstar. She first showcased her passion for the kitchen on her 2012 show Chef Pankaj Ka Zayka. She is now the face of Knorr, the brand ambassador for Master Chef Travels and has her own mobile application, available on BlackBerry, iPhones and Google Play. She also launched her dream project, the Pankaj Bhadouria Culinary Academy, where she shares her love for culinary arts with cooking enthusiasts.

Chef Pawel Kazanowski
In 2008 Chef Pawel moved to Dubai to join the high-end Zuma. Now he is the executive chef responsible for all the Zumas in the Middle East and Turkey; the Abu Dhabi version won the 2014 Best New Restaurant in Abu Dhabi.Chef Pawel developed a passion for cooking at a very young age. He started his professional career at Yoshino, one of the most popular Japanese restaurants in London. Although he specialises in Japanese food, his passion for Polish cuisine and culture is very much alive, and he is proud to represent Poland in the UAE.

Chef Julius Mutava
Chef Julius travelled the world before coming to the UAE in 2012. He was part of the team that won the Two Hat Restaurant Award in 2013 and currently serves as the head culinary instructor at the Culinary Boutique Dubai, a gourmet café cooking and events venue. Born in Kenya, he showed his culinary inclination at a tender age. After graduating from the Top Chefs Culinary Arts Institute in Kenya, Chef Julius worked with the prestigious Southern Sun group of hotels in South Africa. He later joined Restaurant Gordon Ramsay in London followed by a stint with Prime Catering, a high-end Canadian-based catering company.

Chef Irfana Waheed
The owner of the small California restaurant, Anaya’s Kitchen, Chef Irfana started cooking with her mother and grandmother when she was just a girl. She gives weekly cooking classes with a menu featuring a starter, a main course and a dessert. The recipes use seasonal and organic products to prepare food of the highest calibre.

Chef Khawla Aissane
In addition to cooking, Chef Khawla is also a kitchen and pastry correspondent for the Al Akhbar. She holds a Diploma in Moroccan and Intercontinental Pastry (2000); Diploma in Moroccan and Intercontinental Cuisine (2002) and Diploma in Journalism with a major in documentaries (2008). She has worked as a culinary instructor for 6 years and a correspondent for the sections on cooking, pastry sweets and nutrition tips of many newspapers and magazines in Morocco, Tunisia, Spain, France and the Gulf States sections. Chef Khawla has also hosted numerous cooking-shows broadcast by many radio and TV stations in Morocco and Spain. She was Headmistress of the first exposition of traditional cakes of all regions of Morocco in Rabat and first festival of Moroccan gastronomy in Agadir.

Chef Khaldoon Ghraizi
A specialist in Lebanese cooking, Chef Khaldoon currently works at the Lancaster Beirut, where he has developed and innovated many Eastern dishes. His passion for everything related to the kitchen lead him to study at the Lebanese School for Cooking, where he completed his courses in 2002, and he has since worked in hotels, restaurants and cruise ships. Chef Khaldoon has also been featured at numerous culinary conferences and appeared on Lebanese TV cooking shows.

Chef Ritu Chaturvedi
A food blogger and stylist, Chef Ritu cooks healthy vegetarian food with natural ingredients, whole grains, good fats and local produce. She wants to promote simple, nutritious eating because she believes the state of our health reflects the food we eat. Her philosophy was partly derived from her mother, who taught a young Chef Ritu the importance of home cooking. For her, cooking is an art form and the kitchen is her art studio; she creates magic by using the colours of fruits and herbs.

Chef Maimoona
An expert in Mughlai cuisine, Chef Maimoona runs her family catering business that specialises in big weddings and functions. She learned the secrets of authentic cooking at an early age from her mother and has honed her own simple approach since. Her curiosity and love of learning has given Chef Maimoona a special ability to improvise dishes after just seeing or tasting them. She also blogs about food.

Chef Angelo
Chef Angelo was born in Brazil, grew up in Italy and recently moved to Dubai, where he works at the Culinary Boutique Dubai, a gourmet café and cooking school. He has spent a lifetime in hospitality; at a young age he spent his school break working in a hotel and assisting his mother in the kitchen. He went on to study hotel management and apprenticed in many high-end restaurants in Italy. Chef Angelo specialises in Italian cuisine and has extensive experience in the kitchens of some of Italy’s most notable hotels, creating menus for everything from fine dining to banquets and large-scale events.

Chef Manzoor
Chef Manzoor started his culinary journey when he was 18 years old, took training in Hotel and Catering Management from Karachi Sheraton in Pakistan. He specialises in Pakistani, Intercontinental and Arabic cuisine. He is an expert with 28 years of culinary profession and kitchen management experience. Currently he works as Head Chef in Zabeel Palace, where he brings with him immense knowledge of creative cooking. During his career, he has improvised and created mouthwatering dishes. Before joining Zabeel Palace he was Chef De Cuisine in Dhow Palace Dubai, Jumeirah Beach Hotel and Burj al Arab.

Chef Nisreen Al Marzooqi
Chef Nisreen Al Marzooqi is an Emirati chef. She specialises in creating fusion of Persian and Arabic dishes and is very good in cooking creative yet simple dishes. She comes from a family that loves cooking, her main inspiration and passion towards cooking is her mom and husband.

Chef Sevda Dursan
Ched Sevda Dursan is a Turkish chef with an outstanding knowledge of Turkish cuisine. Her specialty is all kinds of Turkish sweets and Turkish Mezze. She has a long list of credits which includes several awards and assignments. Her earlier experience includes a project with INSTABUL FLOWER RESTAURANT & CAFETERIA. She currently conducts cookery courses for children in the age of nine to fourteen teaching them skills for baking. She also organizes events for Gulf Food Exhibition Dubai and Tike Turkish Restaurant.

Chef Mohammed Mazheruddin
Mazheruddin hails from Hyderabad and lives in Dubai. He is expert in all kinds of Hyderabadi (Mughlai) dishes. He is creative yet simple and holds years of experience in managing big catering requests in Hyderabad through his catering company called Anmoal catering. He has improvised many dishes; he participated in numerous cooking challenges and hosted cooking shows for book fairs.

Chef Assia Othman
Chef Assia hails from Morocco and is currently based in the UAE. She is founder of “Assia Kitchen”; cookbook author in both Arabic and English and TV cooking-show host in the Gulf and the Arab Republic of Egypt, chief among which is the cookery show “Assia Kitchen,” Set el Beit TV Channel. She is also a food stylist throughout the Arab world and Middle East Brand Ambassador for leading companies. Chef Assia is known for her remarkable blending of diverse cultures through her varied cuisine, improvising fusion of Moroccan, Arab and Intercontinental dishes, to deliver uniquely rich content to her followers through her shows and social networking websites.

Charles Perry
A culinary historian who has written widely on medieval Middle East cuisine, he studied Middle Eastern Languages at Princeton, the University of California at Berkeley and the Middle East Centre for Arab Studies, Shimlan, Lebanon. He has worked as a journalist for Rolling Stone and the Los Angeles Times. He began collecting medieval Arab cookery manuscripts in 1980 and has published widely on Middle Eastern food history. He contributed the chapter on the Middle East for the American Historical Society textbook Food in Time and Space and has translated a number of pre-modern texts, including al-Baghdadi’s The Book of Dishes.
