JAKEand none of it occUrred here. heck, it waS miracUloUS with thiS giantS win 3 - 2 over boSton - aS the braveS threw everYthing theY had at dUrocher. the braveS had 2 men on in the ninth and janSen held them - and got carried off the field - enSUring a tie for the national leagUe pennant. thomSon got hiS 30th Yard Shot, and monte irvin had a hUge hit. dUrocher haSn’t changed hiS clotheS Since aUgUSt.

DADon top of that, mUltiple brooklYn miracleS allowed the bUmS to come from behind 6 - 1 at Shibe. the blUe lawS were eXtended - allowing the game to go on after 7 pm. pafco made an amazing catch in the 11th,
