Whether you’re in the mood for fine dining or street food, Shoreditch is one area you’ll struggle to leave with an empty stomach. There are curry houses and 24 hour bagel shops on Brick Lane, Vietnamese cafes on Kingsland Road and a plethora of new restaurants and gastro pubs. Keep an eye out for pop-up restaurants, seasonal food markets and smaller venues off of the beaten track too.

DishoomThe menu offers traditional cuisine and a selection of Anglo- Indian fusian dishes. An excellent choice for breakfast, we recommend the bacon naan roll and Bombay omelette.

The BoundarySet within a converted Victorian warehouse, this elegant restaurant offers a modern French á la carte menu that is rooted in classic recipes and techniques and uses only the finest premium ingredients.

HawksmoorThe go-to place for an excellent steak which certainly never disappoints. Head downstairs to the bar afterwards for some of the best cocktails the area has to offer.

Taberna del MercadoNuno Mendes’ restaurant in Old Spitalfields Market is definitely worth a visit. Serving classic Portuguese dishes, the restaurant champions specially sourced Portuguese ingredients.

Local Restaurants A few of our favourite places to eat

Welcome to Shoreditch Shoreditch and the surrounding areas offer an eclectic mix of architecture, culture and nightlife. The area also offers a varied selection of houses and apartments that will suit most lifestyles and tastes. From the popular warehouse and factory conversions in and around the Shoreditch triangle, to the charming Georgian and Victorian cottages in Spitalfields, and the ultra modern, high rise developments found in and on the fringes of the City. Moving further east, couples and families are drawn to the traditional period houses and beautiful parks located in and around Hackney and London Fields.

TramshedIn this disused tramshed a Damian Hirst formaldehyde sculpture of a bull and a cock takes centre stage in the middle of the room. The food is simple, chicken or steak dishes designed to be shared.

ShoppingHighlights beyond the High Street

Despite the transformation that’s taken place in recent years, East London’s edgy feel remains and has fused with the more polished appeal of central London. With many of the older buildings being granted listed status, the areas character has been preserved and it’s retained the creative feel associated with the influx of artists and fashion designers who made Shoreditch their home over the last few decades.

Places to Visit Some of our favourite local sights

Dennis Severs HouseVisitors can explore this 1724 built Georgian terrace on Folgate Street by candlelight. A unique insight into 18th century life as experienced by a family of Huguenot silk weavers.

Street ArtSome of London’s best street art is found in Shoreditch. From Brick Lane to Redchurch Street and withn the Shoreditch triangle, it’s difficult to miss when you’re exploring the area on foot. To avoid missing any of it, book a guided walking tour online.

Columbia Road Flower MarketEvery Sunday the flower market arrives and this pretty, Victorian street aligned by independent shops and galleries is completely transformed. Open all year round this is one of the most beautiful sights the area has to offer, as well as being a great place to shop.

BoxparkThe worlds first pop-up mall is located right outside Shoreditch High Street station and is a great place to spend a leisurely afternoon. Open Monday to Sunday, head upstairs for a bite to eat and a drink after perusing the ever changing selection of pop-up shops downstairs.

have done to help me with the sale. You have both totally exceeded

expectations and I can not fault the standard of service you have given, especially when I am conscious my sale is

definitely not the biggest on your books!
