SGP1, SGP2 Series

SGP300, 400, 600 Series

YP10 and YP15 series are light weight and compact gear pumps,

consisting of two parts of the body, made from a special

aluminum alloy. These pumps have high efficiency as well as

durability against contamination and sintering. They are free of

substances of environmental concern, such as lead or hexavalent

chromium.

SGP300, 400, 600 series gear pumps have a rated pressure of 25MPa (250bar, 3625psi), and have a special

cast-iron body. Its superior durability and high efficiency allows stable performance possible under harsh

conditions. They are free of substances of environmental concern, such as lead or hexavalent chromium.

SGP1 and SGP2 series gear pumps are efficient for high pressure

applications because of their special cast-iron body. These

pumps are extremely durable for high surge pressure and

adaptable for a wide range of temperature and speed. They are

especially noted for maintaining high performance during high-

temperature and low-speed operation. SGP2 series have

specialized ceramic plating over the cast-iron body for improved

sealing.

applications, including material handling equipment, specially-equipped vehicles, and construction and

agricultural machinery.

SD620 series is a double gear pump combining an SGP600 series

pump with a YP15 series pump. This double gear pump is

applicable for a wide range of capacity and usage.

DNP21S series is a double gear pump that has a specialized size

for installation in small construction machines. This double gear

pump has a smaller design by adopting a sintered gear to drive

the second pump used as a pilot pump. They are free of

substances of environmental concern, such as lead or hexavalent

chromium.

DDG440 series is a double gear pump consisting of a special cast-

iron body with a rated pressure of 25MPa (250bar, 3625psi). This

double gear pump is shorter in length than conventional double

pumps and costs less because of its integrated design. They are

free of substances of environmental concern, such as lead or

hexavalent chromium.

Multi Control ValvesShimadzu has achieved great customer satisfaction with our high quality hydraulic control valves used for

industrial vehicles. Shimadzu’s hydraulic control valves are specially designed for forklift trucks application,

and have excellent performance and durability.

Forklift Truck

MSV04A series is a standard manual

control valve equipped with the lift-lock

function. It is also available with

unloading function, flow divider,

and flow regulator, upon necessity.

It is suitable for forklift trucks in the

1.0-3.5t (2000-7000lb) capacity range.

MSV06A series is a manual control valve that was developed for

IC forklift trucks in the 4.0-5.5t (8000-11000lb) capacity range.

It has flow dividers, lift function, lift-lock function, and

unloading function in the inlet section. And it is compact

because it uses the MSV04A series design for the tilt function

and attachment functions. It is also available with a flow

regulator if required.

SSV04A series is a electromagnetic proportional control valve

with flow divider, lift-lock function, and unloading function.

It is suitable for IC forklift trucks in the 1.0-3.5t (2000-7000lb)

capacity range.

Power PackagesShimadzu’s Power Package is an integration of small gear

pumps (YP10), electric motors, oil tank, valves and other

accessories in a compact package. With its usability,

it is widely used as a great hydraulic power source for

specially-equipped vehicles, agricultural machinery and lift

devices.

DPF, PWPM SeriesDPF and PWPM series power packages

consist of DC motors and are widely used

for specially-equipped vehicles, such as

tailgate trucks, aerial work platforms and

power lifters. It can be tailored to fit the

customer’s space requirements.

AU series motor pump units are a combination of a three-phase

motor and a small gear pump, usable as the power source of

equipment using AC power, such as in industrial facilities.

PPL series consists of a rotary switching valve, and can be

bridged with a drive shaft or an engine pulley.

For switching valves, we have single or double acting cylinders,

and other options are available. This is, for example, suitable for

small-sized agricultural machinery.

Business Field

Born in 1839 in Kyoto, the second son of Seibei

Shimadzu, a maker of Buddhist altars. In 1875,

inspired with the idea of raising the profile of

science in Japan, he left the family business and

started to manufacture physical and chemical

instruments for educational purposes in

Kiyamachi-Nijo.

Genzo Shimadzu Jr.

Born in 1869 in Kyoto, the first son of Genzo Sr.

His childhood name was Umejiro but with the

sudden death of his father in 1894, he became

head of the family and assumed the name of

his father. During his lifetime he was credited

with 178 inventions and was chosen as one of

the ten greatest inventors of Japan.

The driving force behind Shimadzu is the diversity of accumulated technologies.

In 1877, Genzo Shimadzu Sr. became the first

person in Japan to succeed in making a manned

balloon. Inherited by subsequent generations,

his frontier spirit has since spread all over the

world, and has given birth to a broad range of

pioneering, cutting-edge instruments.

We have been developing environment-friendly systems at our

Seta Works. One of them is the wastewater treatment system.

The air discharged from special “Aquablaster” nozzles enhances

oxygen dissolving efficiency to create a high-oxygen

environment that promotes the action of aerobic bacteria,

which purify the wastewater.

Another environment-friendly system is the recycling system at

Seta Works by adopting aqueous cutting liquid instead of oil

which was widely used in the past. The dirty cutting liquid from

each machine is pumped and collected in the “dirty tank”,

purified by a special filter and returned to the “clean tank”, and

then re-supplied back to every machine. This system makes it

possible to reduce the use of water because we do not have to

drain the wastewater.
