Regarding PracticesParticipants are expected to:Attend practice each week2 times each week (in 20 or 40 minutes blocks)Practice sign-up sheetsSpeakers select times that work with their schedulesIndividual Events: 20 minute blocksGroup Events: 40 minute blocksExtemporaneous: weekly draws and ongoing researchIts important that everyone show up and be prepared for the time he/she signs up for.Personal PracticeParticipants who have the most success are those who practice on their own every day!

Speech MeetsParticipants are expected to:Attend all speech meetsVerify EntriesDress ProfessionallyStay in speech clothes or change to nice jeans and team shirt

Participant ContractAll participants must agree to the details put forth in the Participant Contract. This includes following the guidelines and meeting the expectations previously discussed in this presentation as well as abiding by school rules set forth in the student handbook.The Participant and Parent/Guardian must sign and submit the contract to the coach.
