Next time you stop by Crops Department Rays Crossing
branch to pay a bill, place an order or pick up a tank or
wagon, stop in and say HI to Lorna in the new office
space. After years of sharing space with the fertilizer
bulk storage facility, a new office is being built at Rays
Crossing.
The new space will
hold three (3) offic-
es, a confer-
ence/meeting room and lobby area to pick up scale
tickets. Customers can enter either the north or south
side of the building at the glass doors. A counter just
inside the doors will allow you to conduct your business
efficiently. Branch manager, Mike Gibson, and Crops
Rays Crossing office manager, Lorna, will have office
space now to continue business conversations, discuss
billing issues or placing orders for your fields & busi-
nesses.
An open house will be planned upon completion of our
project. Watch our website for those details at
www.shelbycountyco-op.com.
Stop by and say HI! We are proud of our new space to
serve our customers.
Reminder to mark your calendar for the August
23rd - 85th Anniversary Celebration! Check
your mail for a invitation soon!

pleted the 28th annual National Conference and User
Exchange “Embracing the Future” by AgVantage Soft-

in computer training will be key to our Co-op’s success in
keeping our customer service on the cutting edge for our

Internally their new knowledge will proved beneficial to
the newest & latest computer operations program we
recently installed, the future POS computers in our Pe-
troleum Trucks, the perpetual inventory program at Ace,
electronic perpetual inventory tracking in crops, new
blending program in crops and advanced billing system in
crops.
Congratulations Shawn and Tina & THANK YOU THANK YOU for con-

Mike Mills, Scott Zufall and Denny Frey
successfully completed the annual CountryMark Pit Stop Training in
June 2013. Mike and Denny had attended Pit Stop years ago but
chose to refresh & update our knowledge on the premium petrole-
um products & services we provide our customers today. Scott, like Mike, works in vari-
ous customer service capacities for our Co-op. For his first time, Scott attended Pit
Stop to expand his knowledge about CoumtryMark, Cooperative structures; their prod-
ucts & services.
Expanding our knowledge on issues such as new API classifications on motor oil in
2015, CountryMark’s marketing for success in the future, upcoming laws/regulations
in our industry and how to improve our customer services, will continue to keep your
