We went from having successful events and inspiring young girls, to serving needy families in the Herndon area. We have truly been blessed by community partners who have offered food to us, volunteers who have donated activities, food and hygiene products, friends asking for donations through Facebook, to even a neighbor parking a truck to have people drop items in while on their daily walks. We are running three separate programs to include daily meal deliveries by volunteers, Adopt a Family program where volunteers have adopted our most needy families to provide groceries every other week, and lastly we are working to provide 60 restaurant meals weekly to families. The community has come together to serve a very vulnerable population in Herndon, and their appreciation is heart felt! Since our last newsletter, a worldwide pandemic has risen. We went from having successful events and inspiring young girls, to serving needy families in the Herndon area. We have truly been blessed by community partners who have offered food to us, volunteers who have donated activities, food and hygiene products, friends asking for donations through Facebook, to even a neighbor parking a truck to have people drop items in while on their daily walks.
