Android App - Quick start Guide

Quick Start

Sharing on the moveThe ArkadinMobile AndroidTM App is available free of charge

To download it, go on Google PlayTM and search for <Arkadin>

Once installed, the Arkadin App Icon will appear on your Home screen

Join a meeting

Join the web conference

Join the audio conference

Once logged in, a pop-up will invite you to join the audioUp to 3 options may be displayed:

1. I will dial in myself

- Select your country - Tap the icon next

to the phone number to automatically call from your smartphone

- If using a tablet, manually dial one of the numbers from any phone and enter the PIN code followed by #. Then, enter the code provided to synchronize your audio and web connections

2. Please call me*

- Select your country - Enter your phone number - You will be automatically

called back

3. Using the internet*

- To join the audio conference via the internet, tap the icon

- You will be instantly connected to the audio conference

- When connected via VoIP, tap the icon to re-open the telephone keypad

TIPS: The audio menu can be opened by tapping on the icon in the top bar You can mute your line by tapping

*This option will only be displayed if enabled on your account. Contact your administrator or Arkadin for further information

As a participant

Tap the direct URL provided in the email invitation sent by the moderator and choose the AndroidTM App option

Alternatively, tap the Arkadin icon to launch the application and manually enter the Web login and PIN code provided by the moderator, plus your name and then tap Login

As a moderator

Tap the Arkadin icon to launch the application

Enter your Login / Web login and Password / Moderator PIN code plus your name then tap Login

Your credentials will now be saved and do not need to be re-entered next time you

Android app controls

On your smartphone:1 Open Menu

2 Mute / unmute microphone

3 Open phone keypad or audio conference menu (if not connected)

4 Navigate within the app

5 Access the following options:

– Invite– Join audio (if not connected)– Share document (available only from the Sharing view)

6 Manage conference: Use the icons at the bottom of your screen (smartphone) or in the left bar (tablet) to to manage the conference:

– Record – Mute / unmute– Place on hold– Lock the conference

On your tablet:

Open Menu to access the following options:

– Invite– Share document – Disconnect

Use the buttons in the left bar to display:

– Attendee list– Chat– Content in full screen mode

AttendeesSelect attendees from the menu, then swipe your fi nger over an attendee’s name to display and access the following options:

InviteTo invite additional attendees:

By phone: Select Calling the attendee on a phone. Choose country, enter the attendee’s name and phone number or select a contact from your address book

By email: Select Sending an email with the conference details. Enter email address, add optional message and send

Mute / unmute

Place on hold

Promote to presenter

Rename

Disconnect

Sharing

To share a presentation:• Select SHARE DOCUMENT from the menu

• Select either ‘From device’ or From ‘content bank’ (See Adding content to the content bank below)

• Select the content to be shared

On a tablet:• Tap on < to display the slide thumbnails

• To display a specifi c slide, tap the slide required from the thumbnails or swipe your fi nger over the screen to go to the previous or next slide

On a smartphone:• The sharing notifi cation icon will be displayed when a document is being shared. Tap the icon to access the shared

• To go to the previous or next slide, swipe your fi nger over the screen

TIP: You can also promote participants to presenters so they can then share content straight from their PC or Android device.

Adding content to the content bankLog into the ArkadinLounge portal https://anywhereconference.com and go to your content bank

Upload and select the document to be automatically opened when you start your next conference

VideoTo connect to the video conference:

1. Select VIDEO from the menu / tap

2. A red dot will appear on the menu video icon to confi rm that you are sharing your camera

3. Smartphone only: the video notifi cation icon will be displayed when a video session has started

Chat• To send public chat messages, select CHAT from the menu / tap and choose

• To send private chat messages, swipe your fi nger over an attendee’s name and select chat

• If a new message is received, a red dot will apear on the chat icon

• Smartphone only: the chat notifi cation icon will also be displayed when a new message is received

DisconnectSelect DISCONNECT to leave the conference and choose:

• Either leave the conference, without disconnecting the participants

• Or close the conference, thus disconnecting all participants
