Product Description

The Teleshake and Teleshake 1536 have a very compact and low-profile design with a height of only 39 and 56mm, respectively. The small footprint makes them ideal for integration into auto-mation platforms. Plates with up to 384 wells can be used on the Teleshake while the Teleshake 1536 is ideal for plates with 384 up to 1536 wells that need higher shaking frequency. Both ver-sions have a precise automated zero positioning (centric position precision: ± 0.1mm) that al-lows a comfortable robotic gripping. Plates are securely fixed during shaking with a mechanism that is easily adaptable for different plates. Shaking frequency (100-2,000rpm for Teleshake and 4,000-8,500rpm for Teleshake 1536) and shaking pattern (linear & orbital) is comfortably adjusted. A low-speed startup process prevents spillage. The Teleshakes are high performance plug-and-play shaking devices that can be operated in standalone with a control module, or with a PC via RS232 interface. Daisy chaining of up to 14 instruments is possible.

Performance Teleshake

The maximum shaking frequency depends on the selected amplitude and the total weight of loaded plate and liquid volume. The graph below shows the correlation between speed and load for Teleshake with 2mm amplitude (red line) and Teleshake with 3mm amplitude (blue line). At a given load, higher maximum shaking frequencies can be used with the 2mm amplitude shaker. Whether a higher shaking frequency or a higher amplitude is needed for the liquid in your assay needs to be tested. The minimal frequency that can be used is 100rpm for 2 & 3 mm amplitude versions. The maximum load of 500g should not be exceeded.

Minimum speed (frequency) of both versions, 2mm & 3mm, is 100rpm. Shaking of 500g with 100rpm is possible. Maximum load is 500g.Tests were done with a shaking duration between 1 and 2 minutes.Tested Teleshakes were fixed to the ground with screws.
