“A chance at life”
Shahina Aftab Foundation
Every single minute, hundreds of women in Pakistan are denied the opportunity to health care, education, employment &
sometimes life.
Vision
To provide women “a chance at life” through technical training for income-generating projects so they have access to necessities of life & can live the life of their dreams.
Formal OrganizationShahina Aftab Foundation (SAF) formally started operations in
2010 as an answer to over 500 distress cries of help from desperate & desolate women & their families.
These were cries for help for lighting their stoves, sending children to school, and basic health care. Other desperate calls were from educated women who after getting married could not be part of work force because of family needs but wanted to work.
SAF believes the answer lies in income generating activities!
