INTRODUCTION Private Internet Access (PIA) provides VPN Service which offers high powered IP cloaking which effectively masks your IP address for all of your software applications, including but not limited to web browsing, instant messaging, and more. IP cloaking stops tracking devices by hiding your IP address.
Once you have setup VPN on your Android device, it should automatically start when you start the device. From the PIA connected screen, press [HOME] on your remote or air mouse to get to the Application launcher.
Once you have setup a proxy server on your Pi or Fire device, it will automatically start behind the scenes when you open Kodi.
All steps in this guide are mandatory unless otherwise noted as optional.
CREATE A PIA ACCOUNT Before you can configure VPN or setup a proxy you will need to create a Private Internet Access account. Visit the Buy VPN page to get started. Once you have paid for the account, you will be emailed your PIA username and password. This is all you need if you will be using VPN.
HIDING YOUR IP ON ANDROID DEVICES NOTE: If you have a different version of PIA already installed on your device, you will need to un-install it first before installing a new version.
