Prohibition & Redressal Act’2013

Workshop On Exploring the potential of Cloud Services

Computer Society of India in association with CISCO, IEEE, IETE, ISTE conducted an Workshop on “Exploring the Potential of Cloud Services” on 6th August, 2015

at India International Centre (IIC), New Delhi. The objective of the workshop was to intensify the

importance of Cloud Services and technologies. Mr. Aadarsh Malviya, Assistant Professor of Computer

Science and Engineering Department from Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida

attended the Workshop.

Workshop on Cloud Computing

Huawei Telecommunication in association with Indovision Services organized a One Day workshop

on CLOUD COMPUTING on 7th August,2015 at Huawei Telecommunication Private Ltd, Unitech

Cyber Park, Gurgaon. The prime focus of the workshop was to enhance knowledge in the area of

Networking, Virtualisation and how cloud coumputing sits on the top of it. Mr. Manoj Kumar Yadav, Assistant Professor of CSE Department from Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida

attended the Workshop.

Awareness Workshop on Red Hat Linux

Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater

Noida, conducted an Awareness Workshop on Red Hat Linux on 21st August 2015. The objective of the

workshop was to spread awareness about the importance of the Red Hat training and certifications

and its immense scope in the field of information technology for the students. Fourty students of CSE

Department attended the workshop.

Wokshop on Virtual Lab

One day workshop on “Virtual Labs” was conducted by Nodal Center of Virtual Labs of IIT Delhi on 31st

August 2015. Thirty five students of Computer Science and Engineering Department attended the

workshop. Virtual Labs is an initiative of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt of

India (GOI) under the National mission on Education through ICT (NMEICT).

Wokshop on Wings to Fly

A one day workshop on “Wings to fly” was organized by “Footsteps” on 3rd September 2015 at Dronacharya

Group of Institutions, Greater Noida. Mr. Rohit Kandakatla, President of “SPEED” and Founder of

“Footsteps” was the resource person for the workshop. Final year students of Computer Science and

Engineering Department attended the workshop.

Wokshop on Software Testing

Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized a One Day workshop on Software Testing

on 11th September, 2015. Faculty members and Students from CSE department participated in the

workshop. Mr. Manoj Kumar Yadav, Assistant Professor of Computer Science and Engineering

Department was the Coordinator of this program. The objective of the event was to make students aware about the idea and scope of the Software

Testing. The workshop was delevered by Mr. Vipul Kocher, President Inidan Testing Board, SALT.

Wokshop on USSD-based Mobile Application

Department of Computer Science & Engineering of Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater

Noida organized a Workshop on “USSD-Based Mobile Applications” on 24th September 2015. The

workshop was conducted by a team from U2opia Mobiles, Gurgaon. Ms. Gargi Amoli, Assistant

Professor of Computer Science and Engineering Department was the Coordinator of the program

and Students and faculty members of CSE Departments attended the workshop.

Wokshop on Data Security and Digital Forensics

CSI Student Chapter of Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized a One day workshop on Data Security & Digital Forensics on 7th October 2015.

Ms. Bhanu Bhardwaj, Assistant Professor of Computer Science and Engineering Department was the

Coordinator of the workshop. Mr. Anuj Aggarwal, Chairman Computer Society of India, Noida Chapter and Shri Babu Subhramani, Scientist C, CERT- In, Dept. of IT,

Ministry of Communication & IT was the resource persons for the workshop.

Wokshop on Technical Communication

ISTE STTP on Technical Communication was conducted by IITB during 8th October 2015 - 5th December 2015. DGI-Greater Noida is the Remote Center- RC No 1316 for the ICT workshops conducted by IIT Bombay and Kharagpur. These training program are done under the prestigious

project of Ministry of Human Resource Development- GOI to Train and Teach Teachers under the National Mission of

Education.The course content was divided into two segments : Online Component: 8 Oct to 11 Nov 2015 (5

weeks) and Face-to-face workshop: 30 Nov to 5 Dec 2015 (6 days). Faculty Members Mr. Manoj Yadav and Ms.

Bhanu Bhardwaj of CSE Department attended the Workshop.

Wokshop on Microsoft Azure cloud computing platform

A one day workshop on “Microsoft Azure cloud computing platform” was organized by “Microsoft India” on 30th

October 2015 at Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida. Thirty five students of 2nd and 3rd year of Computer Science & Engineering Department attended the worshop.

Wokshop on Student Evaluation: (Module-III: Instructional Planning and Delivery)

Workshop on “Instructional Planning and Delivery (Module III- Student Evaluation)” was conducted by NITTTR

Chandigarh during 16th - 20th November, 2015 at Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater

Noida through ICT based program. The objective of the workshop was to enhance the process of evaluating the

students. Four Faculty members Ms. Gargi Amoli, Dr. Sarika Agarwal, Mr. Jitendra Kumar Chauhan and Ms. Sheetal Saigal Assistant Professors of CSE Department attended

the workshop.

A workshop on Sexual Harassment at Workplace Prevention, Prohibition & Redressal Act’2013 was

organised by AICTE on 29 December 2015 at Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam Technical University, Regional Office, Noida.

The workshop was for Sensitizing the management and teachers of technical institutes to ensure time bound

implementation of various measures to be taken to tackle the menance of Sexual crime against women . Faculty

member Ms. Bhanu Bhardwaj of CSE Department attend the workshop.

Industrial Visit to C# Corner

Computer Science & Engineering Department of Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida

organised an industrial visit to C# Corner on 8th August 2015. Twenty nine students visited the plant along with faculty members Ms. Bismita Barik and

Mr. Jitendra Kumar Chauhan of CSE Department. The objective of the visit was to bridge the gap between

theoretical knowledge and practical exposure providing the student an insight into the real working

environment of the industry

Industrial Visit to HCL Talentcare, Manesar

Computer Science & Engineering Department of Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida

organised an industrial visit to HCL TalentCare on 21st October 2015. Mr. Manoj Kumar Yadav, Assistant Professor CSE Department along with 43 students visited the plant .The objective of the visit was to

understand the organizational working.

Summit on "Wireless Broadband Vision Forum"

Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) in collaboration with Global Wi-Fi

Broadband Alliance organized "Wireless Broadband Vision Forum" on 13th August 2015 with a

theme 'India, Wi-Fi and Smart City Development' at FICCI, Federation House, New Delhi. Ms. Gargi

Amoli, Assistant Professor of CSE DFepartment along with four students from CSE (Deepak Panthri, Rahul

Berry, Renuka Kumari & Lalit Kumar Chauhan) of Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater

Noida attended the event.

Conference on "Role of Innovation in Achieving India@75 Vision of a Developed India by 2022"

Conference on "Role of Innovation in Achieving India@75 Vision of a Developed India by 2022" as organized by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) on 11th August 2015 at Silver Oak, India Habitat

Centre, New Delhi. The idea behind the conference was to create a focused agenda of nation building and a universal vision shared by Indians and visions of an inclusively developed India that will collaboratively shape the world order through economic strength,

technological vitality and moral leadership by the 75th year of its independence in 2022. Sushant Kumar

Mishra student of CSE Department from Dronacharya Group of Institutions attended the Conference.

5th National Summit on Institutionalizing Academia-Industry Interface

The 5th National Summit on Institutionalizing Academia-Industry Interface on Make in India, Smart Cities, Social

Impact was organized by PHD National Builders Forum on 9th - 10th December 2015 at PHD Chamber,

New Delhi. Faculty member Mrs. Bhanu Bhardwaj of CSE Department from Dronacharya Group of Institutions

attended the event.

Summit on CSI Annual Convention

The Computer Society of India (CSI) organised the 50th Annual Convention to celebrate its Golden Jubilee year. It

was a four days Annual Convention and series of Board Meetings from 2nd - 5th December 2015 at Bharti

Vidyapeeth’s Institute of Computer Applications and Management, New Delhi. Ms. Bhanu Bhardwaj,

Assistant Professor of Computer Science & Engineering Department from Dronacharya Group of Institutions,

Greater Noida attended the convention.

Indira Gandhi National Service Scheme Award Ceremony

The Indira Gandhi National Service Scheme (NSS) Award for the year 2014-15 was presented

by Honorable President Pranab Mukherjee at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi on 19th November,

2015 to the individuals, volunteer groups and educational institutes for their active participation and contribution in social welfare. NSS Faculty Coordinator
