MATCH In this session, your child will create their very own rugby related word search. Begin by trying to think of as many different rugby terms as possible e.g. scrum, try, lineout. Challenge yourselves to see how many you can list, as a family in 30/60 seconds. Remember to write them down! Ask your child if they are able to explain what each rugby term means - perhaps try some role play to act out some of the words. COOL DOWN Complete your word search using different colours to identify the rugby terms. You could try timing how long it takes to complete it. EXAMPLE OR... Access to the internet Printer Using the list of rugby terms, ask your child to create their very own word search. Don’t worry if you didn't manage to think of many rugby terms - you can use the word mat linked below. You can also complete this activity digitally - there are a variety of websites you can use, for FREE, to generate your word search.
