Serra Club Visits Notre Dame Center
Thursday, April 19, two dozen members of the local chapter of theSerra Club came to Notre Dame Center to share evening prayerand dinner with the Sisters of Notre Dame. The Serra Club is aninternational group of Catholic lay people dedicated to fosteringreligious vocations through prayer, affirmation, and direct support.On the 19th, Sr. Mary Grace Leung shared her vocation story withthe group, as well as her excitement for her upcoming FirstProfession this summer. Many thanks to the Serra Club for theirinterest and support!

and May to participate inthe Final Vows
ceremony for one of ourUgandan Sisters, andthe First Profession of
three others. We are soexcited to see the spirittaking root in Uganda
through the commitmentof these young women.

Lisa Megaffin aretraveling to Lourdes ona pilgrimage from April
30 to May 8.

Sr. Antoinette Marie Moon (pictured) and Sr. Mary RebekahKennedy led La Reina students on a tour of Notre Dame Center,teaching the students about the origins of the Sisters of NotreDame, as well as the various ministries that the sisters currentlyengage in throughout the world. Students were also able to tour theHeritage Room to see photos from the early days of the SND'sarrival in Los Angeles in 1924.
