THIS IS THE BAD NEWS –

WE LIVE WITH GUILT

My guilt overwhelms me— it is a burden too heavy to bear.

My wounds fester and stink because of my foolish sins. I am bent over and racked with pain.

My days are filled with grief. 

A raging fever burns within me, and my health is

broken. I am exhausted and completely crushed.

My groans come from an anguished heart.

Forgive one another as quickly and thoroughly as God in Christ

God is faithful and reliable. If we confess our sins,

he forgives them and cleanses us from everything we’ve done

wrong. (1 John 1:9 – God’s Word Translation)

Christmas proves that God forgives

completely and so can we!

But I wipe away your sins because of who I am. And so, I will forget all
