The experienced team behind Se-rene Industries Limited has since 1979 been a major supplier of heat-ing and cooling products for New Zealand’s best loved brands.

When in 2012 long-time customer Skope Industries Limited decided to withdraw from the Bathroom Heating and Towel Rail business, Se-rene Industries Limited purchased much of their heating stock and assets and introduced a fresh new brand: Serene Living. Serene Indus-

tries Limited is the new leader in home heating product design and manufacture for today’s world. Uniquely, many of our products are designed in New Zealand to best meet the needs of the New Zealand lifestyle. Through vigorous research and de-velopment that takes advantage of state-of-the-art production fa-cilities, Serene develops some of the most sophisticated heating products available.

A key investment in de-sign engineering and CNC tooling has led to over 40 patented techno-logical innovations.

The Serene ‘Roma’ wall fan heater is perfect for home or office use and features a safe all metal body and grill with easy adjustable thermostat that reduces power costs.

The versatile Roma is quick and simple to install and can be wall-mounted high or low. It also offers a clever time saving universal left or right cord connection. The powerful low noise 2200 watts heats even larger rooms in minutes, which makes it perfect for kitchens, bathrooms, family rooms, offices and laundries.

The IPX24 rating makes the Roma also very suitable for bathrooms and laundries. At Serene we realise that features and design need to evolve to meet new trends and that with the realisation that global warming is damaging our planet there is now more than ever a need to be aware of how much power we consume.

Most heated towel rails are still hand-polished and welded which is costly and does not always deliver the optimum in surface finish or reliability.

It is time to move forward and at Serene we have invested over 2 million US dollars in building a new TR manufacturing facility that uses pre- polished stainless steel and laser cutting and welding to craft towel rails with a perfect finish.

We then coat and bake the rails to make that perfect finish highly scratch resistant to look perfect for generations.

Our Superails are produced in our new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility from the highest quality pre-polished stainless steel to deliver a

perfect high polished finish that it indistinguishable from Chrome only by its high scratch resistance.

At Serene we like our customers are very concerned about global warming and the need to minimise energy consumption by the efficient use of power and by using power-saving home appliances.

Although Serene heated towel rails are already very power efficient and cost on average less than 2 dollars a month to run* we have designed a unique way to further reduce the energy used by up to 40%.

Our clever ECO rocker switch when set reduces the power consumption (and running cost) by up to 40% by reducing the rails' wattage. This is a particularly useful feature in the warmer months, if dry towels are not going to be needed for some hours and in homes that are warmer than average due to additional home heating warming the bathroom.

Our extensive range has models to fit all sizes and shapes of bathrooms and en-suites.

The 11-bar round curved rail adds elegance and glamour to any larger bathroom and will keep a larger familie's towel warm and fluffy always.

For smaller bathrooms we have introduced a 4-bar square rail (S3040) that will fit below many windows and a slim 6-bar curved rail (S3066) that is useful for bathrooms lacking available wall space.

Firstly measure the room to calculate the floor area in square meters. For example, 5m x 3m = 15m2

Multiply the area by the watts per metre squared figure: 100W per square metre for well insulated homes and 150W per square metre for older uninsulated homes. Then check the Serene heater wattages listed below.
