Halloween in Historic Downtown, Oct. 27 – Boo on Ballard, 6-8 pm, Ballard Avenue, trick-or-treat event; Glow in the Park, 5:30-8 pm, Olde City Park, foam pit, DJ, glow swag; Night of Wonder, 7:30 pm, FBC Wylie Event Center, illusionist show.
KCS Holiday Express, Nov. 25, 4 pm, Oak Street railroad crossing near Birmingham – six-car Christmas train stops in Wylie so kids can tour cars and visit with Santa.
Lego Family Build Day, Oct. 10, 2-3:45 pm, Smith Library – all ages, show off your Lego and Duplo construction skills.
Pre-K Happy Halloween Party – Oct. 29, 10:30-11:30 am, Wylie Recreation Center – interactive holiday tales, themed games, treats for age 2 - 5 – costumes encouraged.
Art in the Park – Koi Pond, Sept. 24; Haunted House, Oct. 22, 10 am – age 6-13, meet outside Wylie Recreation Center and create an acrylic painting in the relaxing outdoors.
Seniors Fall Festival – Oct. 7, 10 am-1 pm – Community Park – games, pie-baking contest, barbecue cookout.
