AFter pArtYThe UK Air Guitar Championships is a national competition for the best Air Guitarists in the UK. We are the oldest Air Guitar Championships in the World. The competition is simple. Contestants sign up online or on the night, they pick a song and then play a fictional guitar as well as they can to the tune. The audience are the judges, they scream for the best and boo for the worst. The winner will be recognised in the Air Guitar hall of fame and will appear on various television programs and in the media. They will receive a selection of prizes including the infamous rock hand trophy of all air guitar godliness! To be a champion you don’t need to be good, or cool, you just need to get on stage, close your eyes and let the music take over your itchy fingers. 8pm – Late £5 (contestants + 1 friend are free)

FriDAYs AFterpArtYMoteLWe like underground house music. A lot of what we play is derived from the current Berlin scene but we’re definitely partial to dipping back in to the roots of Detroit, the bass music coming out of San Fran and homegrown talent from London, the North, Bristol and beyond.Motel is a music focused after party which runs in an intimate space and as such reserves the right to refuse entry if we do not feel you are right for the party. We know the right people will understand.2.30am – 6am £5

Bitter DisKoAn alternative party soundtrack of below radar beats past and present: expect dirty electronics, dark acid, mutant funk, punk trax and more.“Brighton-based experimentalists Bitter Disko are creating their own take on the style of legendary New York clubs from the late-70s and early-80s such as Mudd and Danceteria. Combining driving disco with post-punk and new wave, their experimentation also includes slices of lo-fi garage and current below-radar favourites.” The Guardian/ The Guide/Clubs9pm – 3amFREE www.bitterdisko.tk
