MARS, Multimode Airborne Radar Simulator, provides a
real-time computer simulation of pulse-Doppler Radars
MARS enables to construct stand-alone radar simulation
applications or to integrate its radar simulation into wider simulation
environments.4

The MARS Tool is entirely a SW COTS product and it
requires standard commercial hardware.
It is a real-time application written in ANSI C/C++.
It has been ported on different operative
systems, taking advantage of the state-of-the-art
OS real-time technologies.
Remote communication has been implemented,
UDP, DIS, HLA, for distributed simulations.
